Endoscopic Urology
A high-tech field that enables diagnosis and treatment of urogenital diseases without incisions, through natural pathways or mini-punctures (up to 1 cm).

Main endoscopic techniques:
- -Cystoscopy – examination of the bladder.
- -Ureteroscopy/Pyeloscopy – examination of the ureters and kidneys.
- -Transurethral resection (TUR): removal of prostate adenoma or bladder tumors through the urethra.
- -Contact laser lithotripsy: destruction of stones in the kidneys/ureters.
Advantages of endourology:
The use of flexible and rigid endoscopes with video cameras provides real-time visualization, enabling complex interventions to be performed with jeweller-like precision.
- ✓Minimally invasive: no large skin incisions.
- ✓Fast recovery: patient discharge possible the next day.
- ✓Safety: high precision of manipulations reduces the risk of bleeding and complications.
- ✓Cosmetic effect: no visible scars remain.
